Who is this for?
This offering is specifically for "femmes & thems," women, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming folks
to create a container with more focus around these identities.
Do I have to be a singer?
You do not need to have prior singing experience to attend,
just an open mind and desire to explore your voice in an intimate, communal, exploratory space.
Who is Heather Wolf (she/they)? What is True Voice?
Heather is passionate to support everyone's unique voice to come forth. Heather believes that singing is important folk wisdom which belongs to each of us, rooted in every one of our lineages and awaiting to be revived within us. She believes our voice is an integral part of our own power, magic & wellbeing.
True Voice comes out of following her own path to heal blocks, shame and wounding around her own voice & expression, to emerge as a singer, songwriter, & recording artist. She offers back to others what she has learned for herself over the past twenty years of study, exploration and growth. She specifically seeks to create spaces where the blocks & challenges around our voices are honored and worked through with love and curiosity, and the joy & power of singing in our own way can be cultivated.
Our voices are channels for life force energy, authenticity, healing and connection. Vocalizing in front of others can be intimidating at times, but singing, especially together, also releases states of bliss and good feelings in the body - it is deeply healing and vitalizing!
In this day together, we are looking forward to going deep, having fun, honoring our bodies, the living world, and connecting with each other.
