ARTIST FOR THE REMEMBRANCE OF FOLK WISDOM

With a voice mesmerizing and enchanting, Heather Wolf draws from the timeless river of living folk tradition. With the Appalachian mountain dulcimer she fuses ancient and modern, reviving folkloric ballads of old with her own original compositions, opening realms of moody, sensuous, folk rock and mysterious, bardic psychedelia.

Her debut LP Midnight Hour, July 2025, is a love cry for life in this eleventh hour of the Anthropocene. With over 70k streams in its first months of release, and supported by a stellar cast of collaborators, the album is a sonic journey honoring lineages from Jean Ritchie’s Appalachian dulcimer to medieval Ladino Sephardic ballads and the 70s folk revival music of Richard & Mimi Fariña. In 2025 she toured with Cosmo Sheldrake, performing with her band to sold out audiences from Los Angeles, CA to Vancouver, BC. Discography & past projects include: self-titled solo EP, 2019; Wild Revival’s EP April’s Fool, 2021, and Witch Pop.

Midnight Hour speaks to the eleventh hour within this polycrisis we find ourselves in collectively, our initiatory ‘dark night of the soul’ as a human species.

The deep night, the revelatory hour, the cauldron of night wherein alchemical transmutations may occur. May we awaken our imagination and creativity, our collaborative, regenerative, collective capacities within this dark hour.

What revelations do you awake with in the midnight hour? What visions does the soul carry after journeying through the long dark night? What is the difference between praying and casting a spell?
